Lagoon 57 feet, or 18m. It was manufactured in 2005, by Lagoon, a French manufacturer. It’s a catamaran specially built for charter, as it’s very spacious and has the capacity to accommodate up to 10 people.
It has 6 cabins, with 3 double beds and 4 single beds. Each of them has a fan, and a private bathroom with toilets, towels and sheets. It’s also possible to take a shower at the back of the boat, because in the tropics, nothing is better than showering under the stars !
On board, it’s equipped with a watermaker, a generator, fire extinguishers, a VHF, an autopilot, GPS, dinghy with 18 hp nissan engine, 2 powerful 75 hp volvo engines, 2 life rafts for 16 people and life jackets. It has all the necessary navigation and safety equipment.
Moreover, it’s equipped with all the necessary equipment for cooking (2 large fridges with freezers and therefore ice cubes, a gas cooker and a gas oven, kitchen utensils, mixers, etc…) and equipped with 1200 watts solar panels.Thus, you can charge all your devices sometimes in 110v, than in 220v.
If you want to listen to music, the boat has a large speaker. So you can dance or relax on the front trampolines to the rhythm of your favorite music.
If you love the sea, the boat has everything you need in terms of snorkelling equipment, fishing (4 fishing rods), and 2 paddles.
The crew :
Made up of an experienced crew, Rafio will be your captain and GiGi your marinera/cooker during your stay. Depending on the number of people on board, the captain can call on another sailor, named Geffry.
All 3 know the world of the boat and will know how to make you live an incredible experience in San Blas.
Rafio is french. He has been sailing for 10 years in San Blas and has 13 years of sailing experience. He has sailed on all types of boats, whether monohulls or catamarans ranging from 33 feet to 70 feet. He has the diploma of the Panamanian merchant navy (YACHT CAPTAIN). He also did some transatlantic crossing and sailed in the Mediterranean & Caraibean sea.
Passionate about kite surfing, scuba diving, apnea and sailing, he will help you discover the San Blas islands and its most beautiful white sand beaches. He speaks english, french and spanish !
GiGi, she is the most famous DJ in Panama, always Happy ! She will be your marinera and cooker during your stay and will prepare your meals. She will know how to cook you Caribbean and Mediterranean dishes with fresh and local products. She speaks Spanish and English.
Not to mention Geffry , who is a Guna sailor and fisherman. He speaks English and Spanish and will be happy to share with you the culture of the Gunas or the fishing.
